Cranberry is a very healthy berry that unfortunately is a little bit forgotten. It strengthens the bladder and alleviating urinary tract. Research has also shown that it prevents unfriendly bacteria from the bladder walls. The sour juice helps stimulating the peristaltic action of the colon. Red + Green= Brown. Ok maybe this smoothie is not so photogenique, but it´s tasty and healthy!
½C Cranberries, Frozen or fresh
1 Granny Smith Apple, core removed, diced
1C Green Sallad (Roman lettuce, baby spinach, ruccola..)
1tbsp Chiaseeds, soaked in water for 10 min
1tsp Coconut oil, virgin, cold pressed
1-2C Water, depending how you want the texture
Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Done!
