I the yogic tradition the heart center stands for love, empathy and forgiveness. It´s the “gateway” from the lower chakras to connect to the upper chakras. Balancing your heart center will strengthen your connection to your heart. Learning how to be close to your values and act after that. It is about having compassion for others and yourself. Being able to forgive and to be forgiven by yourself. Listen to what your heart tells you, you know that whisper inside of you that tells you what is true for you? Having a balanced heart center is about self love, to truly love yourself.
So tune in to your heart, try the poses and meditation!
In all three poses you breathe long and deeply. If you want to know more about this yogic breath, read this blog post. If you´re not connected to your heart center you may act out of fear instead of love.
You can do all poses together or do one or two.
