I want to share one of my favorite treatments when I have pain. Having endometriosis (or another illness for that matter) is often not the only problem you have. With my illness I also have other issues. Though my endometriosis symptoms are pretty good, I can still have other issues sometimes, especially if I feel stressed or have an infection in my body. That can be pain located in my hips, lower back or neck and sometimes IBS. For me dealing with this, yoga and diet always come first as a way of handling things, but sometimes that is not enough. What has helped me a great deal when pain shows up is Epsom salt baths.
Many of us are deficient in magnesium nowadays. Of course there can many reasons for that: poor diet, poor digestion, poor soil so plants don´t have enough magnesium etc. But also if you have an illness or are in high stress your magnesium supplies in your body will be used in a higher speed. You simply don´t have enough magnesium to handle your condition. The same is it with sulfate. It is a very important nutrient that is often deficient.
One great way of handling pain and get more magnesium and sulfate is to have an Epsom salt bath. It is absorbed through the skin.

Epsom salt is a salt that consists of magnesium and sulfate.
Many studies have showed that Epsom salt bath helps and also is an easy and safe way of increasing magnesium and sulfate in your body.
