I want to share a wonderful meditation that helps to re-energize. It also helps to cleanse your body and beat the heat. A great meditation that you can do if you are very hot. I did this meditation when I was detoxing some weeks ago and it really does help! I felt so refreshed after doing it for 11 minutes. It´s called Sitali Pranayam and is one of the most wellknown breathing meditations.
This is how you do it
Sit in easy pose or on a chair with your spine straight and erect. Pull in your chin so get the straight line from your spine up in your neck. Close your eyes and place your hands on your knees in Gyan mudra, where the tip of the index finger touches the tip of the thumb. Your focus is in the third eye point.
Roll the tongue into a "U," with the tip just outside of the lips. If this is difficult for you,
don´t worry just do the best you can.
Now start breathing long and deeply: Inhale deeply through the rolled tongue, exhale through the nose.
Notice so your shoulders are relaxed.
Continue for 3 minutes. Alternatively, you can practice this 26 times in the morning and 26 times in the evening. 108 repetitions are a deep meditation and a powerful healer for the body and digestive system.
In the beginning you can have a bitter taste on your tongue. That will disappear after a while and become sweet.
I would love to hear how it works for you! Comment below!
