Do you feel bloated, heavy, tired & having headaches etc? There can be many reasons for this, but one thing to start with is having a look how your digestion is. How happy is your stomach right now? And how happy are you?
I have written about it before what you can do to get a better digestion with some healthy choices in yoiur life. You can read the blog How to improve your digestion here.
I have also written about Eating Mindfully for you digestion, a blog post how mindfulness can affect your digestion. Have a look at these articles if you haven´t done that already.
Today I want to share my three favorite yoga poses for a better digestion, that can be a big help if you are bloated, constipated or just having digestion issues. I have made a pdf for you so it´s easier for you to try them out yourself.
Click on the image for downloading it as PDF. In the PDF you can click to get directed to videos!
You can do all of the yoga poses in a row or you can try one or two. Try to do them everyday for a month and feel how they feel.

Have you ever felt that your energy is stuck? Maybe you feel apathetic, confused, don´t know where to start. You don´t feel like working and doing things you should do. It can be all from the daily routines like washing the dishes, cleaning up, to things you need to do at work etc. You´re feeling like having a bad day. Nothing feels really tempting right now. Or maybe you´ve had some resistance and things are not going your way. Continue reading, there are things you can do.
I´m fortunate to be quite free in my work, cause I´m working online a lot. I really love my work, but sometimes it can happen that I feel totally stuck. I have no ideas or creativity at all. I have a lot of things I should be doing: Writing blogs, shooting videos etc but sometimes that “want-feeling” is not there. Do you remember the blog post I wrote about following your cycle? That we are following our cycle when it comes to how we feel. Well, so I guess that sometimes I´m in a non-creative day of the cycle, (fortunately not so often having the best job ☺ ). But there are things you can do when this happens. When you get stuck:
1. Do it anyway
You didn´t see that coming did you?! Yes, how many times have I not felt like not working or doing things I don´t feel like doing, having a huge resistance to it. But if you start with the task anyway and go from there, the chances are pretty high you´ll continuing as nothing has happened and feeling the positive energy coming. This has happened to me a lot. This post is a proof of that.
2. Do something completely different
Step away for a while and stop thinking about what you should do. The word in itself, should, is really not a positive word. It´s like forcing yourself to do something you don´t want to do. Instead ask yourself what you are going to do. And while thinking about that, do something completely different, like watering your plants, take a warm nice epsom salt bath, go for a walk, listening to some music, do breathing exercise that gives you energy or chat with your friends. Doing this can make you come up with some new ideas and positive energy again.
3. Do things that uplift you
My experience, when I´m stuck and am in that kind of negative energy, is to do things that uplift me. It can be small things like going out in the sun, baking or shopping. Today I have decided to find a new plant and replace the old cactus that died. Maybe it doesn´t sound much, but I´m really looking forward buying a new plant. It can also be some work related things I actually feel like doing but they are not on my priority list right now. The purpose of getting into a positive energy, getting uplifted, and this is my own theory, is that you´ll attract good things and it will be easier to start from another energy level.
4. Don´t get frustrated
Now, getting frustrated or angry at your self is not a good solution. Some days can be bad other good, that´s life. Allow yourself to do things you love, you´ll have benefits from that in the future. And hey, you don´t need to be perfect all the time.
So get your positive energy flowing and be kind to yourself!

Do you have neck pain, headache or clenching your teeth? Having tension in the neck is a very common problem. Often it is a result of stress or bad posture. In this article I want to share an awesome yoga pose that helps you with the tension in the neck & jaw. Check out the video and continue reading.
I don´t know about you but having a chronic illness can lead to different kind of problems. I used to have terrible endometriosis pain, IBS, headaches & neck pain (to mention a few things..). My neck pain started before I got burned out many years ago, so it´s a stress & anxiety related problem. Over time it became so much better and today I don´t suffer at all from pain in the neck. I can still be stiff sometimes though, but then I have the best yoga pose for it!
One yoga pose that has helped me a lot is Neck Roll. It is a pose that helps you to relax your muscles in the neck and jaw. I have heard wonderful stories about this pose, that people who have done this pose regularly has escaped chronic clenched teeth, headaches etc. It is included in three yoga poses for headache.
It helps you to relax the muscles
What this yoga pose does is, as I mentioned, it relaxes the muscles in the neck and jaw, but it also activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & relax state) and makes you calm. So this means that neck roll is really good if you can´t sleep. You can read a blog about it here, where you have three other yoga poses that are good for a good night´s sleep. The neck roll also opens up the circulation to the brain and activates pineal gland, pituitary gland and the thyroid.
What does the yogic tradition say?
In the yogic tradition the neck roll affects the fifth chakra – the throat chakra. That is affecting your thyroid gland, neck & teeth
Having a balanced throat is said to make you stand up for yourself, speaking the truth from your heart to others and yourself and you have the ability to communicate in a good way.
Check out the video and try the pose. If you have problems in your neck, start with small movements and increase over time. This pose should never give you pain in the neck!
Try this pose for a couple of minutes each direction every day. If you have sleeping problems do it before going to bed. Tell me how it works for you! Please share the video to family & friends!
