Helen's online course Breath and open up has been really wonderful to do. I like that the exercises are easy to adjust depending on your ability and pain levels and it is very gentle but helps you to feel that you are doing something positive for yourself and your body. The breathing exercises are very helpful and learning about the parasympathetic nervous system and sympathetic nervous system was a complete eye opener for me about how our body functions with stress and pain. Helen's yoga program started a healing journey for me that I did not expect. Her straightforward and gentle approach to the stretches makes it easy to get into a routine and stick to it. She is very knowledgeable about overall health, hormones, and emotional balance. She also has a lovely, soothing voice which I find helps stay in flow. Thank you so much for a wonderful yoga course. It suited me well because I had the freedom to do the yoga wherever and whenever I wanted! At the same time the curiosity was there about what would come in the next week. It was easy to follow the instructions and Helen is a very inspiring yoga teacher. Also fun to get in touch with other participants in the course in the facebook group. My favorite yoga poses when I have digestion problems are squatting and sufi grind. Yoga helps me to lower my stress, I have become more flexible and it´s easier to manage my pain. I can only see advantage doing yoga and I´m looking forward to the next course!
